Metrics Direct Income Fund’s investment strategy is to provide investment exposure to Australian corporate loans, diversified by borrower, industry and credit quality – an investment space dominated by the banks. Through active portfolio management, Metrics seeks to balance investor requirements for return and capital preservation.
The Fund targets a return of the RBA Cash Rate plus 3.25% p.a. (currently 3.35% p.a. net of fees)* through the economic cycle and seeks to implement active strategies designed to balance delivery of the target return, while preserving investor capital.

At a meeting of the members of the Metrics Direct Income Fund ARSN 641 620 331 (Fund) held at 2pm on 3 March 2022, a resolution to appoint Equity Trustees Limited ACN 004 031 298; AFSL 240975 (EQT) as responsible entity of the Fund, with effect from the date that the Australia Securities and Investments Commission alters its records, was passed as an extraordinary resolution.
With effect from 10 March 2022, EQT is the responsible entity of the Fund. Metrics Credit Partners Pty Ltd ACN 150 646 996 AFSL 416 146 (Metrics) is the investment manager of the Fund and within 60 Business Days Sandhurst Trustees Limited will be replaced as custodian of the Fund by EQT Australia Limited ACN 111 042 132.
An updated Product Disclosure Statement, Additional Information Booklet and Target Market Determination in respect of the Fund as at 10 March 2022 is available at www.metrics.com.au/funding-solutions/metrics-direct-income-fund.
The Product Disclosure Statement, Additional Information Booklet and Target Market Determination have also been updated to reduce the redemption request notice period in respect of units in the Fund from 15 Business Days’ prior written notice to 10 Business Days’ prior written notice. As outlined in the updated Product Disclosure Statement “where the Trust is liquid, the Responsible Entity will typically accept redemption requests monthly, at the end of each month, where a redeeming Investor has provided 10 Business Days’ prior written notice”.
EQT as responsible entity for the Fund is following ASIC’s good practice guidance in satisfying its continuous disclosure obligations by providing continuous disclosure notices to www.metrics.com.au/funding-solutions/metrics-direct-income-fund as set out in the Fund’s Product Disclosure Statement.
